Poliform|Varenna showcased its modern home organization and storage solutions and furniture, including bookcases, wardrobes, beds, kitchens, sofas and armchairs, at the 2013 IMM Cologne, an international contemporary furniture fair, held Jan. 14-20 in Cologne, Germany.

Poliform, last featured in Closets, November 2011, showed different types of living rooms, wardrobe and closet systems, as well as kitchen configurations in its 5,382-square-foot booth with a theme of warmth, simplicity and elegance. Wood and neutral colors highlighted the settings, in step with the design trends seen throughout the show.

In fact, the nature theme was one of the overarching show trends, according to IMM Cologne organizers. Additional furniture design trends included:

• Natural themes

• Concealed LED technology

• Variations of oak

• Colors: strong plain colors, blue and grey

• Wall units: high boards, low boards, as well as display cabinets

A total of 142,000 visitors from approximately 137 countries flocked to IMM Cologne. Over the seven days of the show, more than 1,250 companies, including Poliform, showcased their latest, innovative furniture and kitchen collections.

With showrooms worldwide, Poliform|Varenna is expected to open a new facility soon in Tucson, AZ.
