Larry Percivalle, most recently, an architectural sales representative for Royal Plywood in Northern California, has been in the hardwoods business for over 25 years. He has had the opportunity to serve in the industry in many different capacities, including sales representative, manager and vice president.

While helping to launch one of the first hardwoods company in the US that focused on “green” wood products in the mid 1990s he had the opportunity to work with many architects/designers and woodworkers, to promote the use of wood products from sustainably well managed forests. This included assisting in the selection of products that met the requirements of various green building programs.

He was a founding member of Build It Green and served as a board member for several years. Larry holds a Bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University in Business Administration and lives with his wife and two children in the San Francisco Bay Area

Next Generation of Green Building: Sustainable Products & Program Jerry Yudelson

Jerry Yudelson was named president of the Green Building Initiative (GBI) in January 2014. He is also a LEED Fellow, Federal GSA National Peer Professional and the author of 13 books on green buildings, water conservation, green homes, green marketing and sustainable development including his 2013 book, The World’s Greenest Buildings: Promise vs. Performance in Sustainable Design.

Jerry is a registered professional engineer with more than 25 years’ experience. He holds engineering degrees from Caltech and Harvard University and an MBA (with highest honors) from the University of Oregon. From 2007 to 2009, he held the position of Research Scholar for Retail Real Estate Sustainability for the International Council of Shopping Centers, a 70,000-member global business organization.
