This art deco table, entered in the 2013 Custom Woodworking Business Design Portfolio Awards by the Michael McDunn Studio, Greenville, SC, was fabricated with amboyna burl, ebony, satinwood and holly veneers.

It was a complex project requiring a whole new thourgh process for making 3-D designs executed in veneer, McDunn says.

With more than 30 years of custom woodworking experience, McDunn works closely with clients in his SC studio to draft and finalize designs. Crafting not only custom residential furniture pieces, his commercial projects include tables, desks and credenzs for many corporate offices.
