The 2013 Custom Woodworking Business Design Portfolio winners have been announced. See the winning entries in this special edition.

LINCOLNSHIRE, IL -- The 2013 Custom Woodworking Business Design Portfolio People's Choice award goes to Byron Conn Design, located in Basking Ridge, NJ, for "Dahlia Table Lamp."

Runners up for the 2013 People's Choice award include: Snow Woodworks, Marshall, VA, for Game Cube Table; MGC Inc., Houston, TX, for San Jacinto College South Williams Library; and Whittington Gallery, Camden, SC, for The Equestrienne Bed.

2013 Custom Woodworking Business Design Portfolio winners were also named and selected by a panel of industry experts. Winners were chosen in seven categories: Residential Furniture Freestanding, Residential Furniture Built-in, Specialty, Commercial/Institutional, Countertops/Solid Surface, Kitchen/Bath and Architectural Millwork.

The Overall Award winner went to Bespoke located in Larchwood, IA, for "Regency Radial Table," which was crafted with East Indian rosewood and figured English sycamore using hand-cut marquetry methods. This project also took top prize in the Residential Furniture Freestanding category.

This year's contest also saw a tie in the Kitchen/Bath category with two top winners and two honorable mentions. Interior Woodworks, Bismarck, ND, "Cherry Kitchen and Great Room," tied with William Stowe Fine Woodwork, Newtown, PA, "1850s French Kitchen" for first place honors.

Countertop/Solid Surface: BKI Woodworks, Boulder, CO, for "Solid Surfaces Brighten Contemporary Home"
