DeVoe & Angel Martin of Affordable Closets Plus LLC, Bangor, PA, is a finalist in the 2015 Top Shelf Design Awards competition with their project “Spotless Mudroom” entered in the Specialty category.

Project Description: We designed this extended mudroom for a family of five which was created by closing off space from an oversized 2 car garage. Lockers, shoes, 2 benches and a place for coats, sport equipment and more. The lockers included slatwall for the sporting equipment to be stored nice and neatly. This mudroom is over 24 linear feet and leads into the family's kitchen. We also installed custom cabinetry around the refrigerator.

Project Construction Details: Garage space was sectioned off to allow for a nice size mudroom . Cabinets are 9.5" high and the finishing touches includes decorative base molding and crown molding. Also bead board backing.
