Designers of closet and garage projects are recognized below as honorable mentions in the third annual Top Shelf Awards competition. Winners were announced March 18 during the 2009 Closets and Home Organization Conference and Expo.

This year we had 31 entries. Also, we expanded our competition to include an overall winner, who received the highest score across all categories. Web exclusive photos and blueprints can be found by clicking the project photos and links below. Kudos to all, and look for information on how to enter our 2010 competition in the next issue.

CLOSETS magazine also extends its deep appreciation to the three judges for their guidance and donation of time and effort in evaluating all entries. They are: Joyce Hardison, Closet Crafters, Ventura, CA; Angelia York, St. Louis Closet Co., St. Louis, MO; and Denise Butchko, Butchko & Co., Chicago, IL.
