WHITE SWAN, Wash. -- Neucor is now facing their panels with Colledgewood decorative faced veneers. Colledgewood highlighted some of Neucor’s product applications with their pre-finished, decorative faces in their booth at AWFS Fair. Colledgewood, based in Lincoln, California, has been manufacturing pre-finished decorative faces for more than 45 years. They have more than 35 decorative face options to choose from, ranging from smooth (full fill) to textured.

Earlier, Neucor installed laminating abilities at its White Swan panel operation. The company can also produce FSC panels upon customer request. Neucor cores are made of a proprietary blend of wood fibers, sawdust, and formaldehyde free resin (pmdi). This proprietary blend is then pressed in Neucor’s patented mold design to create lightweight cores. These cores are then laminated with either unfinished MDF faces or Colledgewood decorative laminates to create lightweight Neucor panels.

The panels are reported to be one-third to two-thirds the weight of MDF and particleboard panels. They come in standard sizes of  48 x 96 inches and 49 x 97 inches but can be manufactured up to  61 inches x 145 inches. The panels also come in panel thicknesses ranging from 3/4 to 3 inches.
