Todd Smith, owner of the Western Australian furniture company, Jarrimber, created this very useful infographic, which showcases the use, distribution, tree size and workability of 17 wood species.

Jarrimber specializes in crafting conference tables, dining sets, chairs and casegoods from Australian hardwoods jarrah and marri--from which the company also derives its name. Though jarrah and marri aren't listed on the graph, Jarrimber notes the woods are Western Australia's first class timbers.
