PELLA, Iowa — Elaine Sagers, vice president of marketing and customer support at Pella Corporation, has been elected chairwoman for the executive committee of the Window & Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA).

WDMA announced its new leadership team during its spring meeting and legislative conference in Washington, DC. At the meeting, the WDMA board of directors elected Sagers as the association's new chairwoman.

“In this challenging economic climate, WDMA stands as a strong advocate and friend for many hard-working manufacturers in the window, door and skylight industry,” Sagers said. “I am honored to serve as WDMA chairwoman and look forward to providing continued strong leadership for WDMA and the companies it serves, including my team members at Pella Corporation and our partners who market Pella® Windows and Doors.”

In addition to Sagers, other members of the 2011-2012 WDMA executive committee are:
· Vice Chairman, Door Division: Ann Duebner, Eggers Industries. Two Rivers, Wis.
· Vice Chairman, Window Division: Mike Salsieder, Kolbe and Kolbe Millwork, Wausau, Wis.
