LIGMATECH adds one-person return conveyor models
LIGMATECH® continues to help manufacturers improve productivity, control costs and enhance workplace safety with effective material handling strategies.
Available exclusively from Stiles Machinery in the United State, Ligmatech’s two new workpiece return conveyors — ZHR 100 BOOMERANG® and ZHR 200 BOOMERANG® — permit safe, one-person operation at one-sided edgebanding machines, a real advantage for small- to medium-sized companies looking to add productivity without adding personnel or compromising workplace safety.

Each machine features a driven roller conveyor that moves workpieces from right- or left-handed edgebanders, transferring them to the operator via a driven return conveyor running parallel to the edgebander. Adjustable upper-pressure elements handle part thicknesses from 12 to 50 mm, and feeding speed is 8 – 25 m/min.

The ZHR 200 adds pneumatically lifting/sliding rails and a tilting/turning device for parts ranging from 35 ½” long and up. This machine can also handle even larger panels, up to 4' X 8', banded on all four sides.

“These new machines give us even greater versatility to serve the needs of small- to medium-sized shops,” said Steve Waltman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Stiles. “The ZHR 100 and ZHR 200 Boomerang return conveyors are a great addition to the Ligmatech line of return conveyors. In order to remain competitive, our customers have to increase productivity while controlling costs and without doing anything that might jeopardize worker safety. They’re going to discover that these conveyors are just what they need.”
