Now available from General International the new model 50-SLT40P Excalibur 48” sliding table.

Like its predecessors, the new 50-SLT40P is designed to fit on virtually any right or left-tilt table saw. This model has been redesigned and re-engineered based on almost 2 decades of user input to include a multitude of improvements and new features for even better stability, repeatable accuracy, adjustability and ease of use.

A list of the major changes and improvements include:

* The sliding table guide rails and carriage are supported by 3 legs that now have redesigned and reinforced leg sockets featuring positive height adjustment through multi-position mounting holes as well as adjustable leveling feet for virtually unlimited fine-tuning possibilities.
* The cross bracing has been further reinforced for increased stability and load capacity.
* Six additional guide bearings have been added to the inboard side (for a total of 14 on the entire table), replacing the plastic (UHMW) runner strip on the inner rail. This allows for even smoother table travel under load and easier fine tuning to remove play between the table and rails.
* For shops with storage or space limitations, the main mounting bracket now includes a quick mount/remove feature via four easily accessible cap screws, to allow for complete removal or installation of the system from the saw in seconds.
* The main mounting bracket is now a two-part system 27 inches in length. This new design features a repositionable mounting plate that can be secured to the main mounting bracket as needed, allowing the user to Cut up to 49"* with the crosscut fence positioned at the rear of the table. Crosscut and miter up to 28"* with the fence at the front of table (depending on the positioning of the mounting bracket on the saw).
* The angle adjustment rail for the crosscut fence has been redesigned to include positive stops not only at 90°, but now also at 15°, 22.5°, 30° and 45°.
* Storage mounts have been added to the outside legs to allow the user to safely stow the fence out of the way when not in use.
