HONG KONG  - In early 2014, the development of furniture industry in Zhejiang Province, China’s furniture production base, has achieved a substantial growth. In 2013, Zhejiang’s furniture industry output value reached RMB149.3 billion, equivalent to a 10.68% increment, while the exports of furniture industry in Zhejiang province also reached USD9.02 billion, an increase of 8.05%. This has taken Zhejiang province to be ranked as the second largest furniture industry cluster in China.

To enhance the productivity and competitiveness from a higher perspective, it is the joint efforts of the whole industry to improve the business management and technology so as to uplift the furniture-making industry in Zhejiang province to the generation of going-green and highly efficient production.

Forging the Best Woodworking Industrial Platform with Zhejiang Government
