CONOVER, N.C. – Specialized carrier Zenith Global Logistics has opened a new warehouse, freight, and split container hub in Orlando, Fla. 

The facility opened with an initial 20,000 square feet, with room for expansion, and will provide service to Florida, allowing Zenith to run loads direct from California, Mississippi, Texas, and its East Coast hubs to The Sunshine State.

“Because Florida is one of the largest markets for furniture in the United States, Orlando was an ideal location for our latest expansion,” explains Jack Hawn, President and CEO. “The Orlando hub opens additional opportunities for manufacturers seeking pool distribution or split container programs. Ultimately this will reduce transit times, which is a key component for customers to gain a competitive advantage in today’s market.” Previously, freight destined for Florida was handled through Zenith’s hub in Conover, NC.

The Florida expansion is part of the strategic growth plan Zenith Global has been operating under since 2004. The plan envisioned a national network of regional freight and home delivery hubs to provide greater efficiencies and speed to market for its freight and final mile delivery customers.
