BRAMPTON, ON - Peter Ekstein, CEO of Weston Premium Woods, announced the appointment of Tim Valters to the position ofpPresident of Weston Premium Woods Inc.

“This is the next evolution in strengthening our team, and positioning ourselves for future growth. We are very excited to have Tim join us,” Ekstein said.

Valters joins Weston after spending over four years as president and CEO of a leading global audio/electronics business with a combination of domestic and offshore manufacturing. Prior to that, Valters spent over 14 years in progressive positions working his way up to president of a leading HVAC manufacturer with significant North American sales and manufacturing presence.

Valters has a proven background in profitably growing businesses with a strong emphasis on client focused solutions, continuous improvement, process improvement, and human capital development. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. He is also currently a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Faculty of Engineering.

Valters resides in Burlington, ON, with his wife and three children.
