Oakland, CA - David Henderson of Colliers International in Oakland, represented KWW Cabinets & Bath ("Lessee") in the lease of 1251 Doolittle Drive, San Leandro. The ±123,200 square foot building will serve as their U.S. headquarters. Craig Hagglund of Lee & Associates represented the owner Balco Properties LTD.

KWW Kitchen Cabinets & Bath sells quality cabinetry, bath fixtures and stone counter tops. This expansion provides for a larger showroom, for more of their products which they manufacture in China. The location of this building appeal to KWW Cabinets due to its easy access from I-880, "Contractors can drop off old cabinetry at the dump, and pick up their new cabinetry on their return trip", says Hong Wong of KWW.

Over the past 20 years larger manufacturing facilities such as Caterpillar, Kellogg's James River, Rexam, and this property once Prescolite have all been redeveloped into multi-tenant industrial projects. The property at 1251 Doolittle Drive had not been fully leased since 2006, and represents the largest new lease deal in San Leandro this year.
