WERC Hosts Urban Wood Webinar

NEWTOWN, PA - The US Forest Service Wood Education and Resource Center (WERC) will host a two-hour-long Webcast discussing urban wood utilization on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 10:00 am Eastern Time.

Key topics include green building, recycling logs, and sanitation of walnut logs. The Webinar will discuss a draft urban forest harvesting standard, carbon challenge home design competition, development of an urban log sort yard and sanitizing walnut logs infested with thousand cankers disease..
