UCS Forest Group Continues to Expand with a New Edmonton Facility

EDMONTON, ALBERTA – Since our 1999 start in Calgary, under the leadership of Jeff Floyd (Alberta Division Manager) Upper Canada Forest Products has continually grown our market presence and scope in the great province of Alberta.

In 2007 we acquired Cambium Forest Products, doubled the size of our Calgary warehouse in 2013, acquired Reimer Hardwoods of Alberta earlier this year, and now are extremely pleased to announce the opening of a new LEED certified warehouse facility in NW Edmonton.

Edmonton has a vibrant and established millwork and cabinet industry and is a growing metropolis of almost 1.2 million people. Edmonton is also the stepping off point to many northern Alberta communities, which we look to service in the very near future.

Our Edmonton team lead by Martin Clancy is experienced and knowledgeable with over 40 years of combined experience in the local Edmonton marketplace. Our Edmonton team includes Sandy Davis who brings over 20 years of knowledge and key relationships, as well as Andreas Wessels who has over 10 years of direct operations experience. This very capable team is clearly focused on serving the great customers of Edmonton and ensuring that Upper Canada continues to “Deliver the Difference” to the entire province of Alberta!

We thank all of our customers throughout Alberta for their loyalty and encouragement in taking this next step. Your support is appreciated and clearly is the key factor in our continued success.
