Stiles Executive Briefing Conference seeks to 'Advance Ideas'

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Stiles Machinery is pleased to announce that the NewNorth Center will lead a collaborative problem-solving dialogue at April 14-16 Executive Briefing Conference (EBC), which will be held outside Chicago in St. Charles, Illinois.

For ten years, the EBC has been asking the questions “What’s now? What’s new? And what’s next?” In 2013, to start a new decade of learning, EBC organizers are challenging attendees of the 11th annual event to try something new and be part of creating what’s next during a collaborative session which will be conducted at the event. To lead this effort, they have secured innovation facilitators from the NewNorth Center.

NewNorth Center is a Holland, Michigan-based non-profit, hybrid education and business institution that provides paths to accelerated growth opportunities through the use of innovation practices. It has developed proven, innovation-focused curriculum for entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses and corporations of all sizes and markets. From in-depth, year-long programs to intense, revitalizing workshops, creative assets can be leveraged to move businesses and products from ideation to commercialization.

On Monday morning during the EBC, NewNorth will help attendees explore and visualize new opportunities using the industry’s current landscape as a means to identify and discuss today’s challenges. Following the unprecedented fusion of design-focused business thought, techniques, exercises and modules, the team from NewNorth will share the data from the group exercise along with their observations related to these findings.

Conference organizers hope this interactive, forward-thinking program is a welcome addition to the annual event. The EBC has become the premier venue for key manufacturers to network and explore new ways to succeed. By providing strategic and practical information that addresses manufacturing challenges, the EBC provides a forum to find out about new technologies and discover opportunities in a non-commercial environment.
