GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Leitz Tooling Systems LP, a member of the Leitz Group, worldwide leader in the manufacture and service of precision cutting tools for wood and advanced materials, announces that it has finalized purchase of the assets of Royce//Pacific Precision Cutting Tools in San Bernardino, CA.

"The purchase is a continuation of our international growth strategy and will enable Leitz to offer enhanced diamond and carbide service capabilities and additional experienced technical personnel to the market." said Mike Lind, Leitz USA CEO. "This particular acquisition represents a stronger, more “local” approach to serving the Western region of the United States."

Former CEO, Holger Nagel, will assume the responsibilities of Western Regional Sales Manager for Leitz to insure a smooth and successful transition. His 25+ years of industry experience combined with Leitz's innovative technology guarantee exceptional customer care to the West Coast woodworking market.
