Latest European Surface Trends for Interior and Exterior Design

Latest European Surface Trends for Interior and Exterior DesignThe past few years have witnessed a phenomenal rise in the number and variety of materials available on the market, and new ones are being launched almost daily. Nano, digital and light construction technologies are bringing forth surfaces with tailor-made properties. At the same time, visual and tactile features are gradually becoming independent from the underlying material and taking on a life of their own. The surface is increasingly becoming an original sensuous creation.

‘The International Surface Yearbook’ is displaying this change of paradigm from material to surface. In addition to ‘used look’ und ‘vintage’, worn materials that have truly aged, such as reclaimed wood and bricks from demolition buildings are prominent themes in 2013.

We kindly request you to release a note or a review on the 2013 issue of ‘The International Surface Yearbook’ with the 100 most innovative European surfaces of the year. Of course we will be happy to send you a copy of the book.

You will find more information and high resolution photos of the cover and one double-page example on http://www.surface-yearbook.de/press/. You can check out the book at http://www.surface-yearbook.de. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
