Wausau, Wis. – The ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient 2014 designation recognizes Kolbe’s windows among the most efficient products that qualify for the ENERGY STAR program. Meeting or exceeding ENERGY STAR guidelines in U.S. and Canadian climate zones, Kolbe offers a choice of glass options to fine-tune windows for a project’s geography, seasonal temperatures, surrounding landscape and localized requirements.

The ENERGY STAR program uses energy values obtained by window and door manufacturers through the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) program. NFRC ratings are based on the energy performance of the total window or door – both glass and frame.
