Buffalo, N.Y. – Berenson, a leading national supplier of cabinet hardware, is pleased to formally launch five new collections inspired by and named after courageous breast cancer survivors.

Berenson Corporation has donated a minimum of $25,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in connection to these collections. Inspired collections will be sold at retailers from April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013. The idea to partner with Susan G. Komen came from Nancy, a 20 year employee with Berenson who discovered she had breast cancer in 2009. Berenson created a pink finish exclusively for these collections.

“We worked with five breast cancer survivors, who provided the inspiration look and feel for each collection,” said Lorne Smith, president of Berenson Hardware. “Through our continued support of this outstanding national organization, we are very proud to pay tribute to those who have been affected by breast cancer.”

The hardware collections will officially debut at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) on April 24. All five breast cancer survivors who inspired the collections will be available at the Berenson booth to share their stories.

The newly introduced Berenson collections include:

The Brenda Collection will include one knob and a 96mm CC pull design available in five finishes: oil rubbed bronze, verona bronze, brushed nickel, polished nickel and pink.

The Nancy Collection will include two knobs and two pulls in 3” CC or 96mm CC. The collection will be available in four finishes: vintage nickel, brushed nickel, verona bronze and pink.

The Dierdra Collection will include one knob and a 96mm CC pull available in five finishes: oil rubbed bronze, verona bronze, polished nickel, weathered nickel and pink.

The Laura Collection will include one knob and two pulls available in 96mm or 128mm. The collection will be available in three finishes: brushed nickel, chrome and pink.

The Betty Collection will include two knobs available in standard or a 32mm CC arch knob and a 96mm pull. The collection will be available in four finishes: verona bronze, brushed nickel, chrome and pink.
