ATASCADERO, CA -- The founder and creator of Her-Saf Products, Leland Safranek, at the age of 91 years, passed away Jan. 17, 2013 in the late afternoon.

A year ago at this time he was still coming down to work on projects and to help with production. In 1961 he patented his pantographic design as it applied to the Her-Saf Panel Router. A year later he introduced "reverse helix" quick change Router bits. The "shop" was his play ground. The machines, his toys. He enjoyed the trade shows and meeting our customers, Distributors and other manufactures in our industry.

Services will be held Friday, Jan. 25th 2013 at 10am Chapel of the Roses, Atascadero CA.
