For many years Häfele has offered an innovative and versatile drawer side system with Moovit, which has developed into an all-rounder across the world.

The high-quality drawer system has a modular design and opens up various design options for the kitchen, living room, office, bathroom, laboratory and stores. For interzum 2015 Häfele modernised the Moovit design and also presented new narrow drawer sides for the kitchen based on concealed runners with the “Elegant Box System” study.

Drawer sides enjoy great popularity in furniture construction as they bring many advantages with their use. Even with large drawer depths they allow quick access from all directions and the convenient removal of objects from above. Storage space is used and organised in an optimal manner, and the drawer sides are easy to handle. Above all, Moovit also convinces in combination with the high-quality Matrix runners, another Häfele in-house development. It is tailor-made for a large range of tasks meeting the highest demands on processing, smooth running, easy installation and flexibility.

New Moovit design: Clear-cut and straight forward

The now presented new Moovit drawer side generation impresses with its clear-cut and straight forward design and meets the latest requirements of the furniture industry with its reduced design. The drawer side height is 60 or

92 mm and the glass or steel side panels from the Moovit range allow the height to be extended individually. A square railing system with quick fixing system is alternatively available - another convincing design solution which makes the use of Moovit even more versatile.

In addition to the standard colours grey and white, Häfele now also offers Moovit in the new colours metallic silver, metallic anthracite and metallic bronze brown. Designers therefore have more room to express themselves when planning furniture.

Moovit and Matrix: A first-class team

More storage space is provided by the vertical inner drawer sides, which make it easier to insert compartment systems. The proven and high-quality Häfele Matrix runners are also the perfect partner for the new Moovit drawer sides. In the weight classes 30, 50 and 70 kg they are the perfect team, leaving no doubts about the technology - either in the kitchen or any other area of application. The Matrix runners are equipped with a soft closing mechanism, which ensures the best possible operating convenience both when opening and closing.

For the configuration of the Moovit drawer system, Häfele offers a wide range of modules for interior organisation. This includes railing and compartment systems as well as height extension side panels, cutlery and perforated board inserts or dividers. The glass side panels are particularly elegant. They are – apart from being unique on the market – adjustable in the inclination via the glass panel holder. The drawer box can be stabilised additionally to suit tall pull-outs.

Quick installation and convenient adjustment of the panels

Moovit is optimal for integrating in industrial furniture production and represents an interesting alternative for both the kitchen industry as well as manufacturers of home and laboratory furniture. The basic equipment comes with full extension runners with self closing mechanism and an integrated soft closing mechanism. During development, Häfele paid special attention to a quick and tool-less installation, convenient adjusting of the drawer panel from above as well as the tool-less disassembly of the panel. The universal rear panel fitting is already pre-mounted on the drawer sides and allows the use of wooden and steel rear panels. This allows the customers easy handling as well as rational production.

New narrow drawer side: “Elegant Box System”

Behind the name “Elegant Box System” there is a study on the new drawer side system generation based on a concealed runner. The steel drawer sides are characterised by a slim design for even more space inside the drawer. The drawer side width is only 13 mm, with standard heights of 93 and

178 mm. The new drawer sides are mounted on standard concealed runners for wooden drawers, the easy 3D adjustment is now integrated in the drawer side. Easy use of the different interior compartment systems is provided by the 90 degree inner drawer sides with groove. The narrow drawer sides can be combined with either a wooden or steel rear panel. Furthermore a square railing system is available as with Moovit.

The “Elegant Box System” also offers an enormous amount of design options. Not only are the same colour options available as on the new Moovit drawer sides, but they can also be combined individually, the inner drawer sides and outer drawer sides can be of different colours.

With the drawer side system and the versatile Matrix runners Häfele is underlining its competence as a complete fitter of functional furniture. Both Moovit and Matrix are manufactured within the Häfele Group in the Anton Schneider plant in Kenzingen (Baden), Germany.
