Fein Turbo II Vacuum Certified As a HEPA SystemPITTSBURGH, PA  -- FEIN Power Tools, Inc. Pittsburgh, PA announced that its recently introduced Turbo II Hepa vacuum has been tested and certified as a HEPA System by an independent laboratory, LMS Technologies, Inc., Bloomington, MN. In order to qualify as a HEPA System, a unit must capture and retain 99.97% of all contaminants down to 0.3 micron in particle size. During testing, the FEIN Turbo II HEPA stand-alone vacuum exceeded this requirement by testing at 99.984% efficiency for all contaminants in the 0.3 micron particle size range confirming its HEPA System status.

This qualification is important to contractors and those performing remodeling or rehabilitation to older structures where asbestos and lead-based paint contamination may be present. The Certificate of HEPA Performance is available from FEIN US upon request.
