Conestoga Wood Specialties Introduces New Finish Options

East Earl, PA – Leading wood and cabinet component manufacturer, Conestoga Wood Specialties, is building on its existing finishing offerings with the introduction of several new finish options.

Truetone Collection

Conestoga Wood Specialties Introduces New Finish OptionsConestoga is adding four new colors to its Truetone Collection. Truetones are pigmented sprays and produce a very fresh, crisp look, allowing the natural beauty and grain of wood to show through. Truetone finishes help minimize dark end grain and blotchiness that is typical with many finishes, especially on maple and birch. The four new colors including Ashen, Cocoa, Shale and Merlot can be applied to cherry, hard maple, red oak and white birch in conjunction with Brown, Caramel, Oyster and Sable glazes. In addition to Butter Rum, English Toffee and Sienna, the four new stains are available on Conestoga’s wide ranging products including doors, mouldings, accessories, veneers, range hoods, ornaments and more.

Glazes on Prism Paints

Conestoga Wood Specialties Introduces New Finish OptionsConestoga is now offering five glaze options that are available on the majority of its 1,200 Prism Paint colors to add depth and definition to kitchen cabinets and accessories. Glaze options include Caramel, Chai, Coffee, Oyster and Pewter.

Weathered Grain

Conestoga’s Weathered Grain option creates a highly textured and rustic appearance on select 5-piece doors and drawer fronts, slabs, custom front frames, select mouldings, and lineal length framing. The finished product is a result of random removal of soft material from the face of solid wood and plywood panel products. When this soft material is removed within growth rings, the result is a highly-desired textured look and feel. Conestoga has added Heirloom finishes, levels 2 and 3 distressing, wear sanding and antiquing to the Weathered Grain offering.
