Cefla to Introduce Cost-Effective Spray Booth at IWFCHARLOTTE, NC - For most manufacturing applications, automated spray equipment provides the fastest, highest-quality finish. However, cost has put this technology out of reach for many small to medium-sized manufacturers.

This problem has been solved with the new Prima automated spray system from the Cefla Finishing Group. The Prima is a reciprocating spray system for water or solvent-based coatings which makes the decision to switch from manual application an easy one. In addition to being the most cost-effective automated spray booth on the market, the enhanced product quality, consistency and additional savings in labor and coatings will help the Prima pay for itself even more quickly.

Prima has a working area up to 1300mm wide, with variable process speeds from 1-3 meters/minute. That provides much greater part size flexibility and speed than any machine in its price range. The oscillating spray system can be equipped with up to four spray guns.

Prima also features an automated paper conveyor which assures consistent edge coating without overspray on the underside of panels. Maintenance and coatings changeover is simple and easy.

The Prima control includes an automated part detection system to communicate panel size and position, greatly enhancing production speed and reducing coatings waste. The 6" touch-screen makes programming fast and easy. The control also features real-time diagnostics of production speed and output.
