Monroe, WA – Canyon Creek Cabinet Company recently displayed its products at the inaugural, combined Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and International Builders’ Show (IBS). The show, part of Design & Construction Week, was held 2/4 – 2/6/14 in Las Vegas. With over 1,700 exhibitors covering more than 650,000 square feet of floor space, the show was attended by over 75,000 industry professionals.

Designed by Canyon Creek’s national trainer Jeannine Laitres, CKD, CBD, CAPS, the booth was very popular and busy virtually all of the time. It was comprised of eight different displays, showcasing cabinet designs for different rooms in the home. New products such as carbonized bamboo, a highgloss red thermofoil, and new decorative hardware and accessories were debuted in the booth. The displays also featured many different storage options for kitchens, vanities and closets.

The black walnut display, set against a penny backsplash, drew in curious visitors. That display also featured unique storage options, with pullouts and drawer dividers, and the sliding storage feature of the English larder cabinet.

The booth also included a wall bed hidden behind cabinetry, with elegant mullion doors with decorative inserts and drawers with pullout trays. One wall in the booth featured a “tree” with the trunk made of bamboo and the leaves representing 22 different standard wood species and stain combinations.
