BlueLinx Announces $7.2 Million Property Sale

ATLANTA - BlueLinx Holdings Inc. (NYSE:BXC), a leading distributor of building products in North America, announced today the sale of a distribution facility it previously closed in 2013 located in Portland, Oregon. The approximately 109,100-square-foot distribution center sold for $7.2 million and the sale continues the Company's emphasis on closely managing and reducing its outstanding debt obligations. The Company expects to record a gain of approximately $4.9 million related to this transaction in the second quarter of 2014 as a reduction of operating expense.
