HAMBURG, NY -- Baillie Lumber has expanded its Custom Lumber Solution program to include Custom Two Edge hardwood ripping solutions.

Baillie’s Custom Lumber Solution program began with a process in which we work with customers to co-create custom hardwood lumber products. These products are designed specifically to customers manufacturing processes to offer more usable lumber, maximize efficiency, and improve overall lumber yields per load.

With Baillie’s increased focus on providing customers ripped hardwood lumber products that will increase production efficiency and maximize yields even further, the Custom Lumber Solutions program has been expanded to include a review and analysis approach to unique ripped hardwood lumber solutions for customers, in addition to the existing solutions provided by the program. These include SLR2E, SLR1E, and special parallel edged ripped options.

With this expansion, the Custom Lumber Solutions Program continues to center on the principles of a five step review and evaluation process that was originally developed for the program, with no obligation to our customer. It is a joint effort process in which both Baillie and our customer co-create a unique lumber solution that specifically meets their production needs and requirements.
