Asia's No. 1 Woodworking Machinery, Materials & Accessories Expo

In conditions of dynamically developing furniture, floorings, decoration and woodworking machinery markets of China, The 15th International Exhibition on Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Manufacturing Equipment ("WMF 2014") and The 15th International Exhibition on Furniture Accessories, Materials and Wood Products ("FAM 2014"), collectively known as WMF 2014 will be held from 25 to 28 February 2014 at China International Exhibition Center (CIEC), a versatile fairground located at the heart of Beijing.

Jointly organized by China National Forestry Machinery Association, China Building Decoration Association and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. biennially in Beijing, China, WMF has long been recognized as the largest expo of its kind in Asia and it's the only woodworking exhibition supported by European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers ("EUMABOIS") in China. The upcoming edition aims to highlight total automation as being the most pressing market trend, and to showcase the latest woodworking technologies and state-of-the-art machineries.

Multiple Concurrent Exhibitions Bridging Upstream & Downstream of the Industry Chain

Dubbed "Asia's Woodworking Hub", WMF 2014 will feature more than 600 top-notch exhibitors from 15 countries and regions across an exhibiting area of 67,500sq.m, and it is expected to attract over 30,000 professional buyers from China and overseas to attend. The International Exhibition on Woodworking Machinery Supplies and Accessories ("WMA 2014") and Beijing International Exhibition on Green Wooden Architecture and Eco-friendly Home Furnishing ("GWA2014") will debut at WMF 2014. Adding to these two new exciting exhibitions, The 3rd China (Beijing) International Exhibition on Furniture, Home Fashion & Decorations ("HFD 2014") will also run concurrently. HFD was inaugurated in 2011 and it is a "Stylish Living" home décor fair that showcases the most stylish and innovative furniture, home accessories, home textiles and home design solutions under one-roof. .

These 5 exhibitions mark a significant milestone in the Organizers' efforts to promote cooperation and better communication among the upstream and downstream enterprises of furniture and woodworking machinery industry, forming the first comprehensive showcase of woodworking machinery, accessories and furniture in Northern China that covers the whole industry chain and serving as a one-stop information exchange and sourcing platform for the industry players. The organizers expect the merging can produce good synergies to attract more quality brands, manufacturers and buyers from China and overseas to participate, which is going to enhance overall competitiveness of the industry chain efficiently.

A major prelude event to WMF 2014, namely China Yiwu International Exhibition on Woodworking Machinery, Furniture Manufacturing Equipment and Accessories ("YIWU WOOD") will be held on 19-22 November, 2013 at Yiwu International Expo Centre. The exhibition is fully supported by The People's Government of Zhejiang Province and is dedicated to integrate every sectors of wood-furniture industry in Eastern China.

WMF has been exclusively supported by the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers ("EUMABOIS") since its 11th edition. In 2010, WMF was elected by International Exhibition Industry Alliance of China ("IEIA") as "China's Top 3 exhibitions" in 40 selected industries.

WMF is honorary organized by the State Forestry Administration of P.R. China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and China International Exhibition Centre Group Corporation. Prominent Results of WMF 2012 at a Glance

WMF 2012 was successfully concluded in Beijing in March 2012. The exhibition gathered 557 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions with participation of 6 international group pavilions, namely German Pavilion, organized by Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and VDMA – German Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers' Association; Lunjiao Woodworking Machinery Pavilion; Qingdao Woodworking Machinery Association Pavilion; Shanghai Woodworking Machinery Association Pavilion; Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry Pavilion and Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Association Pavilion.

More than 2,000 top-notch machinery and equipment, latest technologies and products were presented at the 4-day exhibition. 28,620 trade visitors from 75 countries and regions, including 20 overseas buyers delegations were in attendance. Among all visitors, 43.5% were from Northern China and Beijing and 62.7% were senior management and engineers.
