Will have responsibility for imm cologne, interzum, ORGATEC, LivingKitchen®/ LivingInteriors®, FSB, and aquanale

Arne Petersen, 42, will be the new Vice President in charge of the Koelnmesse business unit Trade Fair Management 2. He will be responsible for managing the leading Cologne trade fairs for interior and facility design, including imm cologne, LivingKitchen®/LivingInteriors®, interzum, ORGATEC, FSB, and aquanale. "We were fortunate to be able to appoint Mr. Peterson, an experienced trade fair strategist, to this position, and we are certain that under his leadership these events will continue their successful course", says Gerald Böse, President and Chief Executive Officer of Koelnmesse.

Arne Petersen, who was born in Hamburg, studied business administration and completed an internship at the Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH trade fair company. He has already had great success as an organizer of business trade fairs and events for the general public. He has gained a rich store of experience in the fields of administration and project management through his work as Center Manager of the World Trade Center WTC Bremen, Director Marketing & Sales and Managing Director at G+J EME GmbH, and business unit manager at Reed Messe in Austria. In his most recent position, he worked as Sales Director at Fachausstellungen Heckmann GmbH, which is part of the corporate group Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover.

Arne Petersen will take up his new responsibilities as a Vice President at Koelnmesse on October 1, 2014.
