BIAW Announces 2014 Excellence in Remodeling Award Winners

OLYMPIA, WA - The Building Industry Association of Washington is proud to announce our 2014
Excellence in Remodeling (EIR) Award winners. The EIR awards program recognizes
outstanding remodeling projects throughout the state. Some of the categories this year
include outdoor living, historic renovations, and the increasingly important category,
aging in place. In addition to the winners there were three honorable mentions this year.

A blind judging panel painstakingly reviewed each and every project to ensure it met a
set list of high criteria, including strength of design, aesthetic and market appeal,
compatibility with the neighborhood and quality craftsmanship to name a few.

The awards were handed out by BIAW Remodelers Chair Wayne Keffer, CAPS, CGR,
during the annual Excellence In Remodeling reception held June 25 at the BIAW
Summer Board meeting in Pasco. The EIR awards are an annual opportunity for members
to gain professional recognition and credibility. The competition is open to all BIAW
members who have completed project(s) meeting category requirements. For more
information on the 2014 EIR awards, please visit www.BIAW.com.
