At interzum in Cologne, Häfele introduced the forerunners of a new generation of table bases based on a modular concept, which makes for easy and quick installation.

Designed and produced in our own plants, these cutting-edge products, hot off the drawing board, are ideally suited for applications in industrial manufacturing or for application by joiners/cabinet makers.

The new table base for computer screen workstations features continuous, electric height adjustment, enabling work to be carried out either sitting or standing. With a 25 mm thick table top, the mere push of a button lifts or lowers the unit for heights between 620 and

1280 mm. Furthermore, the automatic, piezo-electric switch off function ensures safe operation. All of the parts are symmetrically constructed so that components can be flexibly laid out for right or left set-up.

Häfele’s table bases with their newly designed square columns are made of plastic-coated steel and available in signal white, white aluminium or graphite black. Häfele is in the process of expanding its range of accessories for these products. In future, all of the accessories will be fitted to the table base. The table top will always have the same drilling pattern. It can be produced very efficiently, irrespective of the configuration.

Also shown at the trade fair booth, and adapted to the new table bases, was a prototype of a steel pedestal for tool-less installation to the table base via a quick fixing system. At the back of the pedestal, there is a covered, lockable storage space suited to cable management or for a computer.

Compatible with the base for a computer screen workstation, Häfele presented a new table base with four legs, of the new generation, featuring square legs for multi-use units, for use with side or occasional tables or for use with meeting and conference tables.
