U.S. Canada Softwood Lumber Agreement Is Extended

A two-year extension to the Softwood Lumber Agreement between the United States and Canada was announced this earlier week. The SLA, which began in 2006, will now remain in effect through October 2015.

ALEXANDRIA, VA --Three ouf of four voters support tax incentives for home ownership and 73% would oppose eliminating home mortgage interest deduction, according to a survey conducted earlier this month by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB.)
