Modern Woodcraft Aims Toward $15 Million in Revenue

Though Modern Woodcrafts set a goal of $15 million in sales last year, it reached only $10 million. This year, though, the store fixtures and architectural millwork firm, says it will reach $15 million.

MasterBrand Cabinets parent Fortune Brands Q1 2015 sales increased 7 percent to $951 million over the prior-year quarter. Sales growth of 9 - 10.5 percent, predicted, excluding the potential impact of the Norcraft Cabinetry acquisition.

Sauter Timber Wins for 1st U.S. Industrial CLT Wood Building

Sauter Timber's super-strong production plant, built from cross laminated timber (CLT) and glulam, has a 23-foot-high ceiling supporting a six-ton bridge crane designed to carry heavy timber trusses during production. It won a 2015 WoodWorks Design Award.
