Craftwood Lumber Company launched a suit that brought Interline Brands to its knees. Interline, based in Jacksonville, FL, sells hardware and building contractor supplies and used unsolicited fax as part of its marketing.

Cabinetry, vanity and residential remodeling supplier Masco Corporation (NYSE: MAS) declared a quarterly dividend of $.09 per share, payable on February 9, 2015, to shareholders of record on January 9, 2015.

California officials will now require upholstered furniture manufacturers to state whether furniture contains flame retardant chemicals, denying a request by the American Home Furnishings Alliance to postpone implementation.

New Flexsteel Furniture Distribution Center Brings 141 Jobs to KC

Flexsteel Industries' purchase of a 500,000-square-foot distribution center for its residential and commercial furniture will bring 141 jobs to the Kansas City area. Flexsteel also will make a capital investment of $35 million, and $4.5 million in payroll, according to the Kansas Area Development Council.
