Sales skills and industry knowledge strengthen when they go hand in hand.

The WMIA-sponsored Boot Camp is designed to provide sales professionals, sales managers, product managers, and executives a shortcut to a broad understanding of the industry's manufacturing processes.

The Boot Camp session is a wood processing industry overview—a unique project-based program that provides an exposure-level curriculum and hands-on approach to several of the industry's fundamental wood processing applications, and the machinery used in those manufacturing processes.

The January session was an outstanding success and the instructors received the Educator of the Year Award at WIC 2015. The next session of the five-day course will be held June 1-5 at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. Tuition includes hotel, meals, course, and project materials.
