Bioformix Staffs Up; Adds Senior VP Commercial DevelopmentCINCINNATI – Bioformix, Inc., manufacturer of Nexabond instant wood adhesive and developer of energy efficient, high-performance polymer platforms, named Kousay Said its Senior VP, Commercial Development.  .

Said will commercialize strategic opportunities and develop strategic partnerships and alliances for Bioformix. Said had been serving as an independent business advisor to private equity investors in building materials, chemicals, and renewable energy arenas. He spent 18 years at Dow Chemical he served as the Commercial VP for Dow Automotive, Business Development VP for Dow Building Solutions and Managing Director of Dow Solar Solutions.

“His knowledge of the chemical industry and its end-users’ trends and drivers is a tremendous asset to us as we commercialize new technology platforms,” says Adam Malofsky, President and CEO of Bioformix, Inc.

Gearing up for further expansion in applications for wood and other manufacturing, Bioformix announced four other recent appointments: Bob Blaut has joined the team as an associate director of national accounts; Fred Caputo joins as an associate director of technical service; Phil Carlberg has joined the team as an engineering fellow in process development; and Ed Knapp, a veteran of the chemical operations industry.
