SEATTLE, WA – Porch. com, a home improvement network , released its 1st Edition Porch Data Trends Report, using insights from 1.5 million professionals and over 100 million projects to share analysis on activity in the home improvement space.

The data reflects national, regional, and local insights on how homeowners are spending their money, the types of professionals they are hiring, the types of projects they are completing, and economic indicators such as project Return on Investment and Average Project Cost.

Through the Porch network, homeowners will also be able to discover what type of work was done on a home before selling. Areas of concern, such as electrical, plumbing. HVAC, and roofing, will be easily accessed.

Matt Ehrlichman, chief executive officer of Porch, says the availability of home improvement data at a national, regional, and local level will help homeowners get the most out of their investment.

"For our very first Porch Data Trends Report," Ehrlichman adds, "It was a no brainer for us to dive deep into the data to find ways that will help homeowners make informed decisions since spring and summer represents a peak time of year for home improvement, buying, and selling.”
