WMMA Re-antes for American Technology Pavilion at WMS
WIC 2014 to Take Place in Puerto Rico

TORONTO - The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA) is once again organizing a pavilion at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo (WMS).

WMMA Re-antes for American Technology Pavilion at WMS WMS, Canada's largest woodworking event, is scheduled to take place Oct. 24-26, 2013, at the International Centre.

So far, four WMMA-member companies, including three that displayed in the first WMMA Pavilion at WMS 2011 - have signed up to participate again this year. They include:

  •  Safety Speed Manufacturing of Ham Lake, MN, a manufacturer of vertical saws/routers, edgebanders, sanders and more.

  • Mereen-Johnson of Minneapolis, MN, a manufacturer of ripsaws, moulders, tenoners and other solid wood machining equipment.

  • Black Bros  of Mendota, IL, a manufacturer-and supplier of laminating systems, adhesive application equipment, flat-line coating systems and more.

  • Miltec UV of Stevensville, MD, winner of a Challengers Award for its UV finishing technology at IWF 2012, will make its first-ever showing at WMS this fall.

Many other WMMA members are either exhibiting outside of the pavilion or with their Canadian distributors. Others are anticipated in sign up in the coming months.

The pavilion, anchored by a WMMA booth, enables association members to band together and showcase their equipment, supplies and services in a highly visible fashion. Current market conditions in Canada make this a banner year for U.S. woodworking machinery and suppliers to capitalize. Canada's housing market remains solid and a gtrong Canadian dollar makes U.S. products especially attractive to Canadian woodworking professionals.
