HANNOVER, GERMANY – Felder Group of Tirol, Austria, unveiled 33 new or significantly updated machines at LIGNA 2013 held in Hannover, Germany in May.

Felder’s product launches included the FORMAT-4 profit H08 CNC machining center, its most compact nesting router to date and the FORMAT-4 profit H50, the company’s first 5-axis CNC router.

Felder also introduced several new edgebanders including the FORMAT-4 perfect edgebander and showcased Laser Edge, a compressed hot air unit installed on a FORMAT-4 perfect 710 edgebander. Hot air technology was touted by Felder and several other machinery manufacturers as lower-cost alternative to laser edgebanders for achieving seamless joints.

Other new Felder products include additions to its line of classic woodworking machinery.
