GEORGETOWN, ON - Wood components manufacturer Olon Industries has promoted Sylvain Duchesne to VP sales and marketing, in what it calls a "strategic move" following completion of its Phase Two expansion. 

“In this role, Sylvain will continue to be responsible for our product development programs, direct our Canadian sales efforts and play a major role in our U.S. sales efforts, particularly around 5 Piece Door opportunities,” said Don Hambly, president of the Georgetown, ON maker of mouldings and components for the cabinetmaking and furniture industries.

Duchesne named three U.S. sales positions: Kevin Kirby for the Mid-Atlantic, Pat Bruce, for the Midwest and Terry Elliott for the Southwest and California.

“Significant focus is being placed on the promotion of Olon’s 5 Piece Door program into these emerging markets,” Duchesne said.

Olon’s expanded sales team will be showcasing new products, colors and finishes at IWF 2014 in Atlanta at Booth #2129.
