KINGSTON, MA - A new fiberflass-reinforced connector from Colonial Saw Company has eliminated the need to use clamps when gluing biscuit joints.

Winner of an international Interzum Award and a finalist in the 2014 IWF Challengers Award, the Tenso P-14 connector allows users to quickly create an invisible connection which pulls together from the center of the joint and ensures that clamping force is at a correct angle.

The company adds, when used as an alternative to clamping, the connectors use less space and prevent marring. They also allow pieces to be moved without waiting for glue to dry, since the ridge system prevents torsional movement.

The company recommends using Tenso P-14 connectors for attaching face frames, drawer sides and fronts, column coverings, door frames, closet components, and any other projects that require a glued joint.

As a finalist of the 2014 Competition, Colonial Saw Company will present the Tenso P-14 connectors to a panel of judges at the Georgia World Congress Center on August 19.
