IWF 2014: There's An App for That!

The International Woodworking Fair is mobile-enabled, via a personalized mobile event guide, Engage IWF Atlanta.  IWF 2014 runs Aug. 20-23, at the Georgia World Congress Center.

IWF mobile app IWF 2014 registrants receive an e-mail with a link, once opened on their smart phone, provides a mobile version of show information and planning utilities.

Using the guide, you can plan your agenda in advance. The Engage app allows a logged in registered users to:

• Register for additional events or sessions

• Create a personalized profile, personalized calendar, take notes, download collateral and mark favorites

• Easily search for Events, Speakers, or Exhibitors

• View Show floor maps, which are readily available for viewing

The mobile IWF 2014 app also carries an in-app QR reader to scan various QR codes found throughout the IWF 2014 event.
The app also shows live photos, accesses Twitter and provides access to local restaurants and services through Yelp.

Engage is a native app for iOS and Android. Don’t have and iPhone, iPad or Android? No problem, the app is also available for Windows, Blackberry and PCs using the web mobile version. The web mobile version still gives users access to the show’s information, but does not require a login.
