The IWF 2014 Challengers Award committee for woodworking supplier innovations released the list of semi-finalists, 33 products from 23 companies, narrowed from 61 entrants from 45 companies. Winners will be named August 20 in Atlanta.
The Challengers Award recognizes equipment, supply and service advancements with regards to technology, process or environmental improvement in the woodworking industry.
This marks the second round in the process, which has been updated since it last took place at IWF 2012. Another elimination round will cull the field to 20 finalists, culminating with seven winners being revealed at the biennial IWF 2014, the International Woodworking Fair. North America's largest woodworking event, IWF will be held Aug. 20-23 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
