SOMERSET, NJ - Discount registration for the 2014 Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, April 9-11 in Somerset, has been extended through Monday, March 31.

Attendees can still save $75 on conference registration or $10 on expo hall admission fees.

The Total Storage Solutions event kicks off Wednesday, April 9 with the Cabinets & Closets Conference at the Hotel Somerset-Bridgewater. The day-long event opens with a general session featuring keynoter Paul Downs, owner of Paul Downs Cabinetmakers and a featured blogger on running a small business for the New York Times.

The conference also will include separate tracks for closet, co-sponsored by the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals (ACSP) and Closets magazine, and custom cabinet professionals, co-sponsored by the Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) and Custom Woodworking Business (CWB) magazine. The Cabinets & Closets Conference will be capped off by the festive cabinet/closet industry awards reception featuring presentations of the 2014 Top Shelf Design and Design Portfolio awards. The Cabinets & Closets Expo swings into action on Thursday, April 10 and Friday April 11 at the Garden State Exhibit Center, located minutes from the headquarters Hotel Somerset-Bridgewater. The expo will feature product displays from leading suppliers of hardware, wood components, software and woodworking machinery. Free how-to demonstrations will be held throughout the two-day expo.The first day of the trade show will be capped by an exclusive tour of high-end, high-tech archittecutral woodwork manufacturer Eastern Millwork Inc.

Expo hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 10 and 9 a.m. 3 p.m. on Friday, April 11. Registration opens one hour before the start of each day.

Discount Conference & Expo Registration
Attendees can save more than 20% on Wednesday’s Cabinets & Closets Conference fees - $275 vs. $350 - by registering by March 31. In addition, attendees can register additional colleagues for the conference at an additional $50 savings. (Members of the ACSP and CMA can enjoy an even greater discount. Contact the ACSP or CMA headquarters for details.)

Online expo-only registration is $15 through before March 31 and $25 after that date.

Hotel Reservation Deadline: March 22
March 22 is the deadline for discount room reservations at the Hotel Somerset-Bridgewater. Show organizers have negotiated a rate of $109 (plus tax). Make your room reservation online or call 732-225-8300.
