LAS VEGAS - Woodworking Network published three editions of AWFS Fair TODAY!, the official print show daily for AWFS Fair 2013, North America's largest woodworking exhibition of the year.
AWFS Fair TODAY! was printed live and distributed each morning at the main entrance and throughout the the Las Vegas Convention Center during the run of the exhibition, July 24-27.
The brightly designed over-sized publication took a lively approach to AWFS Fair, previewing each day's activities, recapping events from the day prior, and pointing attendees to networking, technology demonstrations, free giveaways, booth entertainment and colorful activities around the show, including:
• Booth Demos
• Celebrity Appearances
• Special Events
• Photos from the floor
"For AWFS Fair TODAY!, we created a lively, colorful, and fun publication," said Laurel Didier, WoodworkingNetwork VP and publisher. "This is definitely not the same-old show guide."
The publication flipped over to become AWFS Fair TONITE!, with evening events, and including current events among Las Vegas' many attractions included, along with discounts passes and other extras.
Designed in a large-format size it also incorporated useful tools to help attendees find their way around the floor, and to special events each day.
A jumbo fold-out exhibitor list and centerfold map helped attendees navigate the show floor; daily schedules were also featured - segmented by day to make it easier to find when and where things are.
A Visionary Award section included a complete listing of finalists. The final weekend edition issues featured award winners of multiple programs, including the inaugural Visionary Awards.
