FORT MILL, SC - The catch-phrase “Destroy Responsibly” originally was developed in 2008 as part of a recycling campaign at The International Woodworking Fair. The program has since relocated to The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers® (AWFS®) Fair. WEIMA America quickly became the Official Recycling Partner of the AWFS® Fair and has returned each year since.

In years past, a large WEIMA shredding system has been in operation behind the exhibit hall. Wood waste is collected throughout the show, processed by the shredding system and donated back into the Las Vegas community. In 2011, the non-laminate wood grindings went to an animal conservatory, and in 2013 the wood grindings will benefit the Community Garden at The University of Nevada in Las Vegas.

WEIMA America, a leader in green recycling technology in the manufacturing industry, is excited to be returning to the AWFS® Fair once again. The AWFS® Fair will be held July 24th-27th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
