LAS VEGAS - A new AWFS SmartSHOP session has been added in the Woodworking Techniques and Applications track. Due to the popularity of "Rapid Case Construction through Dowelling," a second session on the topic has been added to the Saturday lineup.

SA81 will be on Saturday, from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m., at Booth #9256. John Park of SCM Group will lead the discussion on how to utilize nesting to switch to dowel construction and increase profits by using the latest technology in cabinet construction. Attendees also will learn how they can improve finished product quality, decrease costs, compress build time and remove drawer and door adjustment in the shop.

The added session brings to nine the number of SMART (Special Machinery and Relevant Technology) seminars conducted through the AWFS Fair College of Woodworking Knowledge.
