Lumber Liquidators Sales Up but Earnings Fall by One Third

Lumber Liquidators net sales increased 4.6 percent to $266.1 Million in the third quarter, but net income of $15.7 Million, down from $20.4 Million in the year ago period. Comparable store sales, a gauge of stores open at least a year, fell 4.9 percent.

Graham Lumber Cited by OSHA Following Worker Fatality

A Graham Lumber Co. employee was killed after he became entangled in a conveyor belt at the company's lumber mill in Fulton, MS. OSHA cited the mill for willful and serious safety violations following the fatality.

Lawyers of Wood Pellet Maker Sued Over Facebook Ownership Claims

Lawyers for Paul Ceglia, CEO of wood fuel maker Allegany Pellets, are being sued by Facebook for perpetrating fraud. Ceglia waged a long-running battle for part ownership of Facebook, claiming he made a $1,000 investment in 2003.
